The topic introduces and develops an understanding of the autumn Festival called Sukkot – Feast of Tabernacles. It establishes the reason for celebrating the festival and the meaning of the word ‘Sukkah’ or small hut. The topic further explores ‘the Four Kinds’ and the symbolism of each item. Celebrating Sukkot including Hoshana Rabbah, the eating of kreplach and lastly Simchat Torah are also covered. Assessment is included.
